Storage words as LitBuy uses them
- K number: the order number of one item; the policy defines an item this way.
- Stocked and listed / Stored: the item has been checked and shelved; the free period starts.
- Warehoused: the status the return window counts from (120 hours).
- Overdue day: any day from day 91 until the parcel order is created.
- Monthly cap: CNY 300 per item per month, undefined as calendar or rolling.
- Abnormal parcel: received without matching logistics information; 30 days, no reminders.
- QC photos: the free inspection photos, usually 3 to 6; custom photos cost 1 yuan each.

Questions about the overdue fee
When does LitBuy start charging for storage?
From day 91. Each K-numbered item has 90 calendar days free from the date it is stocked and listed, ending 23:59:59 on the 90th day.
How much is the overdue fee?
The actual paid item price times 0.2% per day, at least CNY 1 per item per day and no more than CNY 300 per item per month, settled in yuan.
Why does a cheap item cost as much per day as a CNY 450 one?
Because 0.2% of any price under CNY 500 is under one yuan, and the minimum charge is CNY 1 per item per day.
Is there a maximum storage period?
The policy opens with 'up to 120 days', but its operative rule is that items can be disposed of when fees remain unpaid beyond 30 days; its Cap and Disposal section adds the monthly cap and no shipment as conditions. Do not rely on a fixed limit.
Does creating a parcel stop the fee?
Yes. Fee calculation stops on the day the parcel order is created. Fees already incurred still have to be paid.
Can I pay for some overdue items and leave others?
Yes. Bills for several overdue items are combined, and LitBuy lets you pay for some, ship them, and leave the rest accruing.
Does the CNY 300 limit reset every calendar month?
LitBuy says 'per month' without defining it. The meter shows both a 30-day reading and a calendar-month reading.
What about items I forwarded myself?
They have no paid price; the policy's notes say the fee can be based on the declared value at inbound. The forwarding form asks for that value in US dollars.
Do members pay less storage?
LitBuy's 18 September 2026 announcement lists free storage among membership and Lit Prime benefits without amounts. The storage policy does not mention membership. Check the fee shown in your account.
Where do I see my storage fee?
Under My Warehouse or Order Details, in the app or on the website: overdue days, daily fee and the total so far.
What happens to a parcel that arrives without a matching order?
It is an abnormal parcel: 30 days from Received, no reminders, then destroyed.
Do storage fees earn points?
No. LitBuy's points rules list storage fees as not eligible.

Cautions before you buy
LitBuy's Notes Before Purchasing list items it will not accept, such as tobacco, alcohol and contraband, and many restricted items including knives and tools, lighters, magnets, seeds and some foods. Medicine, liquids, creams, powders and cosmetics are limited by Chinese export rules; LitBuy asks you to contact support before buying them.
Restricted items narrow the routes for every parcel they join, and an item with no route can sit in storage while you sort it out. That time counts against its 90 days.
Read the restriction list before you order, not after the item is stored.

Counterfeit rules and what is not verified
LitBuy's anti-counterfeit policy says it keeps a zero-tolerance stance toward counterfeit goods and IP infringement. It bans such goods and says it can cancel orders, suspend or close accounts and dispose of prohibited stock held in its warehouse.
Separately, its purchasing terms state that by using the service you accept that product quality and authenticity cannot be verified. Its Refund Terms leave authenticity to the customer and require goods to come back to LitBuy before any authenticity-related refund.
Disposal of prohibited stock is a different matter from the storage rule on this site, and no storage fee is involved in it.
